I have been researching the family of Charles Henry Palmer (1872–1954) and Nelly Parry (1876–1952), married 1897. Lived in the Oakley, Malvern, Hawthorn area of Melbourne
I have found several children"
- Reuben Charles (1900–1935) -can't find a marriage record (if there is one), or cause of death
- Ruth Myrtle (1903–1975)
- Edith Minnie Palmer (1907 – ...) - no record after 1937 Census at 14 Moorehouse Street, Malvern, where she is listed as a clerk. No confirmable marriage record, further Census listings, or death record
- Wfred Palmer (... - 1916) - Death record lists Chas Hy Palmer and Nellie Parry as parents. There is a burial for Winifred Palmer (but no Wilfred) at Springvale Botanical Cemetery for 1 Nov 1916, which at this point I am accepting as "Wfred" as many other family members are also buried there. Cannot find any record of when this person was born, however. Help?
- Hy - (1897 - ... ) born to Charles & Helen Palmer - not convinced this is the son of Charles Henry & Nellie, but as they were married in 1897, and that Nellie is sometimes a pet-form of Helen, I thought I'd include it, as it may be helpful in confirming "Wfred" in some way.
"Wfred" is my primary question, but if you stumble across anything which helps with the
bold bits regarding the others, I'd be grateful of all input.
