Muriel MacDonagh Funeral Photographs?
« on: Tuesday 02 October 12 00:24 BST (UK) »
Hello all, I was enquiring as to the existence of any photographs of Muriel MacDonagh's funeral in July 1917. (Thomas MacDonagh's widow, who tragically died only a year after the Rising having drowned off the coast of Skerries). Several sources describe a large cortage of several thousand Volunteers following the coffin on the way to Glasnevin - I was just wondering is anyone aware of any photographs that may exist of this?

Thanks very much.

I have also heard that John MacDonagh made a newsreel of his sister-in-law's funeral, and that there may also have been a British news film crew there filming, but I've never come across any of this film.
