COMPLETED - Help please! what is this message?

Hi,

everytime I come on to rootsChat I get a bar at the bottom of my screen. i keep shutting it, but is still appears every time.

Anyone know what it is, and more importantly, how to get rid of it? It only appears on RootsChat.

I've never heard of it,
Having looked at a few forums, it seems it is nothing to be concerned about.  However, apparently if your Java is out of date, updating it seems to resolve the problem.

Thanks Dave - I was worried in case it was a virus.

It is really annoying though - and strange it only appears on RC!

Have you only got in on Rootschat? It is so annoying, isn't it!

I am having to try a few times just to post a message on here - I don't know if it is connected or a coincidence.

I only started getting it today, too.

I was just going to start a thread asking about my message but I'll post here instead as perhaps it's part of the same problem.  For the past 2 hours or so every time I've loaded a new page on RootsChat I get a bleep and this message across the top of the page.
