ScotlandsPeople has a marriage for Charles J Read Mayger to Lizette Aitken Cunningham. The given name written on the passenger list does look like it could be Lizette. It doesn't look like she came to Canada to join her husband. I can't find a passenger list entry for her and she died in Renfrew, Scotland in 1951 (as Elizabeth Aitken Mayger other name Cunningham).

I am hoping that you can maybe help my family in their search for more information regarding Charles Read Mayger. WE understand and have noticed from the links that you listed that he travelled to Canada. What we would like to do now is find out where he ended up and if we can trace any living family over there. My mum and aunt would love to track down anyone who maybe knew him or his family. We have very little information regarding him here in the UK, other than what we have found on sites here.

Read Mayger, 21, bonded storeman, son of Charles Walter Mayger, brewer's agent and Isabel Samble (deceased) married Lizette Aitken Cunningham, 21, daughter of William Cunningham, shipbuilder's secretary and Madeleine Sutherland on 26 Nov 1924 by declaration in the presence of Martha Sommerville Carruthers and Janet Craig. The marriage was registered by Warrant of Sheriff Substitute of Lanarkshire on 26 Nov 1924.

* Charles Read Mayger emigrates to Canada in 1927.
