Hi

Does anyone know when the rest of the parish records will be updated with later entries, ie parishes starting with letters from the latter part of the alphabet, or are they holding back till the first anniversity of the start of subsciptions so they can get another years fee?

I think it's a really good idea though to digitise all these records. I wish other counties would do it too. I wonder if it was a project which they ran out of money for, hence why there's no scans of recent registers for parishes further down the alphabet?

I paid for amonth in the initial stages but found so few of my parishes done that I have  done nothing since.
Would be interested to find if any more have been added.If so I would take out another month.

You can see the ones that have been done by looking at the parish and the "digital images". Which parishes were you interested in?

Thanks ..will do that. Im interestedin Halstead,Purleigh.Woodham Walter,Little Baddow.Boreham,THough some from these ares have been done they arent always in mt search dates.

I paid for a day subscription. Then the site crashed and kept coming up with "error". £ 5 wasted. I would advise anyone who wants to look on Seax to only pay for a day or it could prove expensive.

Surely thy must realise that their site crashed and give you another day of your choice.Have you approached SEAX to see if they will do this for you.
It does put you off subscribing if you lose outto something which isn't your fault.
