Obtaining Copy Birth Certificates

I've recently used both Family Search and Ancestry websites to locate the birth index record for a relative born in 1927.  She's listed with the following details, but there's no record of her mother's maiden name:

Name: Anna May Dolan
Registration District: Delvin
Registration Quarter and Year: Oct - Dec 1927
Volume Number: 3
Page Number: 85

I'd like to get a copy birth certificate but can't get to Dublin in person, and the postal and online applications seem to require mother's name and place of birth.  Can anyone tell me if there's another way to get the copy?

You can order research certs from the GRO by post, all you need are the references from the BMD Index - see :

   Details included on a Birth Cert

Mother's maiden name is only included in the online birth index from the late 1920s

When you go the postal route via GRO Roscommon you don't need the mother's maiden name (or any other details) if you can quote the full reference.

Fill out the GRO Birth Certificate Request Form with these details: Anna May Dolan Q4 1927 Delvin 3/85.

Tick the 'photocopy' (aka research copy) if you want  the certificate only for research purposes. It'll cost you 4 Euros.

Or tick the 'full' option if you want a certificate for legal (or citizen application) purposes. It'll cost you 10 Euros.
