Marriages St Botolph Aldgate 1832-1837
« on: Friday 28 September 12 15:52 BST (UK) »
I am interested in the marriage at this church between Henry Bailey and Emma Breton or Breston.
Family Search has several index entries dating both 1832 and 1837.

I am hoping that the bride may actually be Esther Breton(e) and there has been a poor transcription

I would be grateful for any extra info on this marriage as it is the only one that is anywhere near
a marriage for Henry and Esther Bailey prior to the birth of their son Joseph in 1843.

Thanks

The 1832 is Emma but it was in Clerkenwell.

Hi

The 1832 entries at St James Clerkenwell between Henry Bailey and Emma Breton appear to be a series of banns being called.
The 1837 entry is a marriage. Both are between bachelor and spinster of the parish. Emma signed the register in 1837.
