« on: Thursday 27 September 12 19:40 BST (UK) »
Does anyone know the name of a ship carrying War Brides which sailed from Liverpool, England on 7th June, 1945 and arrived in Halifax, Nova Scotia on 15th June, 1945.  Thanks.

Hi Polarbear,  I've had this  War Bride request before  but I've renewed my interest as I've now viewed  the Canadian Travel Certificate which is stamped 'Embarked 7 June, l945 Liverpool' and 'Landed Immigrant' - 'Immigration Canada  Halifax, N.S. - June 15, 1945.'

Previously a reply indicated there were no sailings on 7th June, 1945 but the above information has opened another door, hopefully.

Thanks for your interest.
