William Stanley BELL-BOOTH married Florence HEILBRONN in 1931. 

Florence was born in 1879, the daughter of Thomas Illidge HEILBRONN and Elizabeth FARROW. Florence died in 1958.

Thomas and Elizabeth were married in 1871 so she was only 16. They had a son Thomas:

1872/C852
Thomas Illidge   HEILBROM
Parents Thomas Illidge & Elizabeth FARROW

The son Thomas married Clara POULTON and was a carpenter living in Gympie.

No he didn't.  This Thomas Illidge HEILBRONN died in 1926 (aged 69) and is buried with Clara (died 1935) in the Lutwyche Cemetery in Brisbane.  His death reg:

1926/B50337

Parents:    John    & Mary BAILEY (Ancestry names her as Mary Bailey ILLIDGE)

No sign of another Thomas Illidge, so did Thomas LOWRY start life as Thomas Illidge HEILBRONN?

Having a look at Ancestry trees, and Thomas Snr. is recorded as a....drum roll....hairdresser!  ;D

It seems Thomas Snr. was both a farmer and a barber.

Both from when he died in 1890....

Mr. Thomas Heilbronn, one of the pioneer farmers residing on the Widgee Crossing.

YEP, they sure were, especially in NSW  ;)  I have a family of 15 children born in Sydney from 1870 to 1895 and each BIRTH registration shows their dad was a HAIRDRESSER.   Needless to say ALL the boys that survived to adulthood also became Hairdressers, and the occupation is shown on their electoral roll entries and on their enlistment papers. 

I am quite sure though that they were also Barbers, and sold tobacco and perhaps indulged in some SP betting efforts too.    ;D
