« on: Wednesday 26 September 12 00:24 BST (UK) »
I hope someone can help me. I am looking for the baptism record for Frances Hill born cir 1769 in East Halton, parent unknown. Frances married William Cook in 1791 in Great Limber.

Hi

Nothing conclusive, but maybe some pointers.

There is a John & Frances Hill baptising children in the 1770's in Kirmington, very close to Great Limber and East Halton, they can be found on FreeREG and Family Search. There are a couple of Marriages on FreeREG that would fit.

The marriage is quite informative, giving parishes, witnesses etc, but no parents, link below.
http://www.freereg.org.uk/cgi/SearchResults.pl?RecordType=Marriages&RecordID=1949668

1841 census has a Frances Cook aged 70, b. abt 1771 and living in Barton. (may not be correct Frances, though I can't see another in date range.)

A popular BI has:
11 Aug 1842 Frances Cook aged 73, Great Limber, St Peter, bur. (puts the birth/bap. back to 1769)
