Hi lm trying to trace my great grandfather Edward Woodford born 1875 Newport lsle of Wight he married Annie Moorcock in 1894 on the lsland they had Emily my grandmother 1895 lsle of Wight there was Arthur, Bernard. Harry, May, lsobel as far as l know of They left the lsle of Wight and moved to Lewisham  where some of there children was  born All l know is that Edward was a Railway Plate Layer  Thank you Chrissie

Heather, it might be an idea to post reference numbers for those censuses as Chrissie may require them for her files as source material, or to look them up herself (if she doesn't already have them). Also, you have omitted to add some of the ages, occupations, places of birth etc, which are all vital to her further research, and I'm sure she'll be very curious to know all these additional facts.

Hi Ruskie &Heather thank you for the welcome lm trying to get around the board  All l have it that Charles partner Emma dont think they were married had two children James William born 1865 Hoxton Middx
Caroline born 1869 ie (Carry)Dont know if Emma died  as When Charles married Martha it states on the census
that Carry 1869 Annie 1875 Charles 1879 Rose Lily 1880 Arthur James 1881 Mary 1882 ,Martha Emma 1885,Florence 1888 l havent any marriage certificate or birth certificates  As it seems to me that Charles & Martha had bought up Carry (Caroline) as there own Dont know about James William Gosh it gets so damn complicated not like the programme  who do you think you are get it all done for the celebrities lol
 Annie must of been in service left London met  Edward on the lsle of Wight  got married there no marriage certificate yet had my grandmother Emily Annie 1895 ,Arthur 1897,Florence 1899 May 1900 (have her down as Mary). Mabel 1902,,Harry 1904,lsobel 1905,Bernard 1907  They lived in Lewisham  dont know when they died Edward was a railway plate layer for the great western thats all l know kind regards Chrissie
