BLACKWOOD family of Kirkcaldy

Looking for information on the Blackwood family of Kirkcaldy. My great-great-great grandfather James Ferguson Blackwood was born there in 1826, married Elizabeth Gilbert in 1848, emigrated to New Zealand with his wife and three young children and died in 1863 of convulsive fits at only 37. His parents were Andrew Blackwood and Harriet (nee Chalmers).

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have an Isabella Blackwood b 1771 Kinglassie Fife,married a James Morton b 1766.They married in 1798 in Abbotshall.Isabella died 1863 and James died 1846.
