I post this in Deciphering & Recognition Help as well, but was wondering if there was anyway of sharpening the photo to be able to see it better.
Thanks
Steve

Not sure if this helps but it appears to read as
MARY
In affectionate remembrance
of her beloved husband
MARTIN OBRIEN
Died 20th ..1879
Aged 60/80? years
..? trusted son
JAMES
Called Home? 1876
aged 16 years
There is something on the top of the headstone Latin perhaps that I can't make out
Cheers
Maureen

I'm pretty sure the very top line is "Erected", and there must be a "by" underneath it somewhere, before Mary's name

How did I do it?
I just sat at the laptop for 3hrs, with Photoshop, each letter is placed individually, and the font changed as required.
Yes Pru, I can see it now, I will repost
