Searching for ancestors of George Shailor born around 1670 Purton, Wiltshire. He had at least one child, John Shailor.

I have searched FreeREG and familysearch and cannot find anything.

You might want to be creative with the spelling, in those days names were often written as they sounded. This resulted in many of the variations of names we have today.

Thank you for your advice. I previously did this and found results on family search.

I managed to find:

1. Richard Shayler
1.1. Richard Shailer (1635-01-24)
1.1.1 George Shailor (1673-02-10)
