There are microfilms of some of the Glasgow cemeteries in the Mitchell Library, but of course you need to go there to look at them.

Glasgow tops the list of grasping councils when it comes to accessing burial records. Next is Aberdeenshire, which charges you per hour (last time I enquired it was £10 but that was years ago) just to look at the books yourself. I reckon they are deliberately doing this to choke off the demand.

They almost make Deceased Online look like reasonable value. Unfortunately.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

I believe that Aberdeenshire have digitised their burial records, and they'll be on Deceased Online at some point in the future, just like the Aberdeen City ones.

"Modified rapture"[1] is probably called for, but I won't be holding my breath.

hi is there a charge for this

No. you just email or call them and they will help. You may then have the lair number, but pinpointing it in the graveyard without a lair map is impossible. The gravediggers and the council have the maps. Again, I have found them to be extremely helpful in actually taking me to the exact position of the lair.
hi do you have the exact email address for this place please
