Hi,

Just a a side note, where you have for example Bangalore, Madras; Secundurabad, Madras & Raichur, Madras, you should be aware that the Madras part of it refers to the administative area of Madras rather than the city! The British split India into several administrative areas, one of which being Madras.

Apologies if this was already known!

Kind regards

David

Hello! My entire family were either married, or baptised at the Trinity Church, Bangalore, soimr at St. John's Church, Cleveland Town Banglore. Maybe if you wrote to the incumbent Minister of those Churches they nmight be able to help.  If you searched the internet IGI.com giving a particular name might also help.
