Can anybody help with the Muirkirk burial records or grave inscriptions. Looking for Mary Richie or Staley died ? 1831

The only Mary Richie mentioned in the OPR burial records (pre 1855) died in 1767 there are no Staley entries at all.

Unfortunately Muirkirk appears to be one of those Ayrshire parishes which didn't keep very good death records (or they haven't survived) - the OPR records end in 1800 and there is then a gap until the start of Civil Registration.

It is possible that there may have been a stone in the graveyard and any inscription there may assist you but I don't have access to those records. It is unfortunate that the church burial records themselves are so poor but they are not the worst in Ayrshire.
