Samuel Henry Pearce
« on: Friday 14 September 12 12:37 BST (UK) »
Hello all,

I am looking to find when & where Samuel Henry Pearce, wife, Ellen Pearce (nee Rendall/Rendell) & son Roland Henry immigrated to Australia from England. It would be around the year 1885 & I'm guessing it was to Sydney as they had a daughter born in 1887 in Sydney.

I have had no luck looking for them on the NSW State Archives website.

(If you have any further details on them it would also be appreciated :D)
Prettner, Dederer, Rodriquez, Pearce, Steele, O'Connell, Douglas, Rossiter, Nicholas.
England, Wales, Ireland, Germany, Yugoslavia, Chile, Scotland.

Hi and welcome :)

Samuel Henry Pearce and Ellen Rendell seem to have married in Fulham in Dec qtr 1884 and had Roland Henry in Kensington in Dec qtr 1885, so as you say that leaves a narrow window of opportunity of a year or so for the emigration if there is a Sydney birth in 1887.

Hope someone can find the voyage for you. In the meantime let us know what further details you're seeking and we will see what we can do.

Wondering if anyone has any further luck on this family??

My husband's line is through William C Pearce's line (Also went b Charles W) from his first marriage (1915).

Is there anywhere else other than the state archives that immigrants lists can be found?

Cheers
