Aargh.

I see that Maureen had also picked up on the 1952 death.

So: is the 1937 death of "Bertha Albina Alma Steward" in fact that of Ellen Steward? With some funny business going on?

Can Ellen be traced alive after 1937? (Or a separate death found)?

Who was the informant on the 1937 death?
the informant on berthas death was her cousin ellens son percy they were all living at 200 silver street. idont think bertha was married to aaron bridge in 1891 she was living with her grand mother in hempstead essex  there are a lot of hughes in hellion bumpstead.

You'll see from earlier in the thread that the marriage of Bertha Hughes to Aaron Bridge took place in the September quarter of 1891, so it was after the 1891 census.

Did Percy state his relationship to the deceased on Bertha Albina Alma Steward's death certificate? Have you identified in what capacity he obtained letters of administration in respect of her estate?

Have you traced Ellen Steward after 1937?
