Napp's or Knapp's of Heathfield/Punnetts Town
« on: Monday 10 September 12 13:34 BST (UK) »
Hi

I am researching my family and would like any info on the Napp's or Knapp's of Heathfield/Punnetts Town area of Sussex

My Great Grandmother was Celia R Napp and was the daughter of Albert and Harriett Napp who I believe run the bakers and grocery shop in Punnetts Town with Albert's mother Ruth.

I understand Albert and Harriett had 12 children  ::) (although by 1911 three had died)

Any other info would be greatly apprieciated, thank you

Hello nessie - Ruth Knapp was my 2 x great grandfather James Knapps sister.  Ruth had 10 known siblings, I will sent you a personal message.

It looks as though Pam and Trish have given you a good start with your direct family  :D

Hello Ivan,  Harry Baitup married Florence Knapp - three known children (I won't post names as they may still be living :)).

I am not sure who Florence' parents were,  do you know?.  I think they may be an, as yet, unconnected branch of the Knapp family as mentioned in this thread.
