Large sand-stone, small round top, square mantle shoulders, lying flat on its face. In memory / of / my beloved husband / Mo PORTER, / of Egremont, Cumberland, / who died 9th April 1891, / aged 27 years. / Also of William, (Willie) / only son of the above, / 1st Batt. City Pals, / invalided home from France, / and died at Formby 19th April 1916, / aged 27 years. / He gave his life for his country.
