The HENOCHSBERG.s came  to Melbourne perhaps for  a visit,

HENOCHSBERG Donald Ellis
born 1892
year 1925
from  Liverpool  to Australia Melbourne

HENOCHSBERG Irene H
born 1892
as above

More information about these passengers may be available, but  I am not in a position to see it.

Sue

They were both aged 33, he was a merchant. and their last address was given as 71 Melrose Ave, N.W. 2. You were correct, Sue, about it only being a visit that was planned.   :)

Whe he died in 1915 BERNARD MARKS left a lengthy will regarding his sizeable estate.

Within it he lists his children (which we have already thanks to Jenn and some grandchildren too-

WALTER BERNARD ISAACS and ROY WALTER ISAACS "sons of my daughter LIZZIE EDITH ISAACS"
.
BERNARD JOHN MARKS "son of my son MARK MELBOURNE MARKS"

I wonder if this is IRENE HANNAH MARKS   taking a trip to London.

MARKS IRENE MISS Aged 16 per OPHIR. I MAR 1907 to LONDON

It looks as though Ernest Norman Marks was married before 1922.....

 http://www.rootschat.com/links/0qy0/

Marjorie's will was made in 1919.

I've now found Ernest N. MARKS marriage to Marjorie GOLDRING in Sydney in 1917.

Wow people you have been busy!  :o

It looks like we may have at least one living relative (thanks Sue for the PM). I'll see what I can do to make contact. If any of you manage direct contact please feel free to point them here so they can PM me.

He looks so good in his sailor suit. I do hope we can find him a good home. I have to admit if his name hadn't been on the back I wuld have been certain he was a girl. What lovely long hair he had.

Yes I did find him in the UK.
