I am trying to find information about relatives that emigrated to Argentina from Europe..possibly France or Italy.  Did you ever have any luck with your research or have any helpful hints to pass on?
Cindy

Hi Cindy!  :)
Well, there are some records (census, marriages, births, etc) in Argentina, specially of the northern region. I couldn't find many of the southern region in Patagonia. So it depends where ur relatives settled down when they came here. Those records are in Spanish, so if u want u can give me names and I could check  :)

There are now a number of records for Argentina on familysearch:
https://familysearch.org/search/collection/list/?page=1&countryId=1927135

Not civil records Buenos Aires, but there are church records. You will have to look at the original images not just search by name (there do seem to be some image indexes ).
