I have recently been using
http://www.burialrecords.manchester.gov.uk/ to find family graves in Manchester. I was wondering how common family plots were in the 1920's and 1930's for people that were not well off. Were people usually related to the other people in the plot? I found my Great Grandmothers son Raymond Crompton buried in 1930 in position 2 of Grave 615 at Philips Park Cemetery, in Position 1 is Joseph Tetlow in 1928, positions 2,3 and 4 also have Tetlow family members in them, is it likely that my Great Grandmother had some link to Joseph Tetlow?
