Looking for Grace Kate birth parents (maybe other ways of spelling the surname )
Found her marriage to Richard Burt 26th December 1734 Fordington Dorchester (St Georges )
Children, John born 1735, Phebe 1738, and James 1740.
Have found a family of James and Phebe Kates ( no marriage date as yet )
Children Elizabeth born 1713, James 1716 and Mary 1719 all born at Fordington.
Wondered if this was the family and Elizabeth/ Grace might have been known by both names.
Also Grace calls her daughter Phebe after her mother also James after her father. Wondered !!
