Frederick SEDGWICK 1909 Little Clacton or Thorpe le Soken
« on: Wednesday 05 September 12 17:56 BST (UK) »
I'd be very grateful if anyone could do a Parish Records look up for a baptism of Frederick Reginald SEDGWICK for me. He was born in March 1909 in either Little Clacton (1911 census) or neighbouring Thorpe le Soken (family tradition). Thank you.

Yes, that's right, born in March so the birth was registered in the June quarter - March 30th, I believe!

The free 1911 index shows his birthyear as 1910.  What was his mothers name on the 1911

Depending what you know of the family - if Frederick had younger brothers called Harold S and Gordon A - then their mothers maiden name was Reeves as per freebmd

No, you are right, I'd remembered it wrong! It was April.

However, the fact remains that I am still desperate to learn if he was baptised in either Little Clacton or Thorpe le Soken - or, of course, possibly neither! I'd expect it to be some time in May or June if he was.

Yes, don't worry, I know all that :-)

Just want to know which font they dipped his head in.
