Also if you go to http://freecen.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl

amend the year to 1841 and insert the name Bland Brown, which is quite unusual, you will find details of 4 of them in West Lothian. May help you in your searches. There is also a Lucretia Brown lurking with Bland and his father Bland!!

In 1841 you will also find Lucretia Anderson aged 65 with Alexander Anderson aged 63.

         Thank you for that "Lucritia Anderson" is my 4th Great Grandmother her maiden name was "Gardner"
he daughter  Allison married a "Bland Brown"
