He married in 1614 so from that I assume that he would have been born 1590 to 1595 ish so by 1644 he would have been in his early fifties.
As I say, I have no proof of how he died or where, the only thing which made me wonder about it was the date which could of course be purely coincidental. That was why I was having a go at deciphering the exact wording of the will just in case there were any clues.

What date was the will proved?
Should give a narrow time frame for his death

It looks as if the will wasn't proved until 18th May 1647 but I wondered if the war might have caused the delay even if he had died shortly after the will was made.

There is a note at the bottom which I assume was written at the time but it's in latin.
