I am beginning to think it would most likely be a regiment that recruited in Derbyshire maybe Buxton or that area.

Thanks for the picture but i am very unsure i think it most likely that he enlisted in Debbyshire, Cheshire or Lancashire areas.

Post 1916 it wouldn't matter where he enlisted he went where replacements were needed not just to a local battalion like a lot of lads did in 14/15
