Hi Shay

Tell you what, none of us are perfect & Im no exception to that rule so when I go to the Hive on Tuesday I will have another look just to make sure that I didnt miss Edward

from 1769 - 1772 to see if he was BAP between the 2 children you suspect he was

I would appreciate that Phil, but don't use all your holiday on me!  :)

Have a nice weekend.

Shay

Hi Shay

Ive had another look at the parish registers for Martley from 1733 - the end of 1784 & was very carefull this time which is a good job as I feel sure that I missed one the first time, but the unfortunate part is that its not Edward - I dont think I sent you this one
10 FEB 1757 John s/o Richard/Elizabeth Griffiths

I wonder if this could possibly be your Edward 1 JAN 1769 s/o William/Mary Gittens & that it has been mis transcribed as one of your Griffiths ancestors - I know thats a very long shot but though it was worth mentioning.  Personaly I think he was baptised in another parish

Thank you for your time, Phil. Most probably the Martley Griffiths' are not my family. I'll have to try the Tipton forum now :)

Again thank you for all your help. Have a great week.
Shay

Hi Shay

Dont give up as he may have been baptized in a contiguous parish to Martley - tell you what, I go home next week but will be up again for Christmas/New Year so will have a look at the contiguous parishes for you then & hope that he wasnt christened at Whitbourne as thats in HEF

All the very best

Phil
