Suffolk Surname; COLEMAN

Hi everyone,

Am hoping someone out there has the information I'm looking for;

I am trying to find information regarding the Coleman family from the Lowestoft family, in particular the descendants of Ezer (Ezra) Coleman (b 1862, d 1949).

I'm sure his parents were Matthew & Mary Ann Coleman but can't find any information for them before 1871.

Does anyone have any further information?

Do you have his marriage cert as this would give you fathers name and occupation.

No, I'm afraid not as can't find a record of it anywhere!! I'm wondering if he's used a middle name as his first name, causing confusion.  ;)

I think you maybe right about the parents in 1871, a son Matthew listed twice. If you get the certs that will confirm. ;D
