Unit and rank from picture?

Hi I wonder if anyone can help identify the rank and poss regiment of the person in bak row 1st on the left of the  picture?

Two stripes indicate a corporal. However, I can only hazard a guess at the badge but it looks like the Royal Artillery, which would make his rank Bombardier.

The third person in the back row is wearing an RAF uniform.

He is also wearing some medal ribbons probably from ww1, diffcult to tell which regiment but the one far right back row as we look at it with the stripe of L/Cpl or L/Bdr. looks so much like him they could be brothers, perhaps he is.
If you could scan just the cap badge of either it may help to identify the regiment.

No i have cropped it and saved under another name but every time I try to attach it gives this message

You will get that message if someone else has already used the file name you have chosen

If you include your username  eg jmol17-pic1 it reduces the risk of duplicate names

Even if an upload fails, it's a good idea to rename the file before you try again   :)
