Chesham help!
« on: Saturday 25 August 12 19:11 BST (UK) »
I decided not to renew my Ancestry sub this time....as I don't make use of it like I used to.  Typically, over the last few weeks, I keep finding myself wanting to look up info etc!

My sisters house was built in 1900, and she is desperate to know who lived there in the past.  Is it possible someone could look on the 1901 and/or the 1911 census.  I'm not even sure if its possible to do an address search and I also only want someone to look if they have free access etc.

The address is 182 Berkhampstead Road, Chesham, Bucks.

Many Thanks!
Helen

Hi, it's not showing up on a 1901 search and we are not allowed to put 1911 results on here.

Hi

If you search the free 1911 index
lived in  "Chesham"
keyword "182 Berkhamstead Road" (note no P)
you will confirm the Head of the family.

You will not get the individuals in the family nor the name of the cat/dog/budgie/rabbit    ;D

You may be able to build the family from FreeBMD
