Robert Sheridan b.1918 (parents: Barney Sheridan, Margaret Handerson )
« on: Saturday 25 August 12 04:51 BST (UK) »
I am looking for info on my grandfathers roots - Robert Sheridan who came from the Long lane Dublin 8, I have what is likely to be his birthcert 13/10/1918 it states his father as "Barney" Sheridan, I believe it might be Thomas Bernard Sheridan, his mother named as Margaret Henderson.
Any info would be greatly appreciated  :)

just wondering about the 'likely' birth cert - have you confirmed this with details of your grandfather's marriage cert ?

That should have his father's name and occupation to help confirm, or rule out, that birth record.. witnesses at marriage can also be useful clues as they can be relations.

Hi shane, yeah I have the mariage cert but his fathers name wasnt put on it, none of the family know if he had any other relatives.
So I was hopeing someone on here might also be looking for Barney.

Thanks,
