"Papers Past" Updates Part III

Hi Em,

No worries, and many thanks from me, as the Oamaru Mail printed a notice from the Blenheim Press by which I learnt that my ancestor in Blenheim was cropping barley on his farm in 1891. Prior to this I had no idea what he farmed. Little things make up a big picture.

Thanks for helping me add to the family history.

I was wondering if you have any news of pending updates to the PapersPast collection.

Hi Spades -

We do have some new material coming to PP not too far away, it's a fairly big release. I have to take care not to tread on the toes of the comms staff by letting the cat out of the bag too soon however, so forgive me for being a little reticent

After that, we'll be doing some more Otago titles, and possibly some more from Taranaki and the Waikato.

In the meantime we've been doing some technical housekeeping - we had an outage over christmas that was just appallingly badly-timed, and we're doing some work to make this much less likely in future.
