Searching for a George Ryan,

Hi there

Im looking for some info on my great grandfather  'George Ryan' not much to go on im afraid he was from Dublin then he moved over to Liverpool where he ended up a fireman oh and he was born in 1871, needle in a haystack i think

Do you have a marriage cert for your George ?

It should show his father's name and occupation which could help locate the family.. and also maybe confirm or rule out any possible matches..

I searched the civil records for any George Ryan in Ireland 1865-1875 and there are only 21 results
also the baptismal records for the same period

There are only four near matches

on Irish Genealogy there is a family with a James George RYAN in 1871
