Date and Restore Please - COMPLETED MANY THANKS
« on: Tuesday 21 August 12 14:10 BST (UK) »
Hello,

Can anyone tell me when this photograph may have been taken. I believe it to be my G x1  Grandparents but am not sure. My Great Grandfather died in 1921 aged 73yrs.

I'm afraid it is not the original photo but just a copy.

If anyone would like to tidy the photo up they may do what they think suitable. I love to see the different effects the restorers get. All so good.

Kind regards
Maggie

Thank you for the dating Jim. That would tie in nicely with the information we have.

And Lydart, Love your comment about her hands
I am sure she did have a hard life. She had 11 children, mostly boys.  My Grandad was second to the last. My mother remembered her in later life being a tiny thin lady. She lived to be 84 years old so I suppose you could say hard work never hurt anyone.

Kind regards
