I see a Muirhead in Bothwell.

Muirhead seems to be on the northern side of Airdrie on the way to Cumbernauld

I also saw on a modern Google terrain map- Burnside Road, and Muirhead Dr. to the left and right of the where the bridge would be. Obviously not there in the 1880's but roads named after placenames of long ago.

Burnside Cottage seems to have been in the Glenmavis area of New Monkland and on the modern map there is a Yetts Hole Road

Hi Marie, Yes, Annie  Duffy 1882 married my Great Uncle William Wedlock 1882. My Grandmother was Grace Ann Heaney,1879 (Wedlock).
