Hi Liz and Richard

Liz: According to a tree on Ancestry he was supposedly drowned on the steamer Whitewood in Dec 1909.

I have found a number of records for Vilhelm Mattiaus Schou in Copenhagen:

1860 - Vilhelm Schou - Census: http://ao.sa.dk/ao/data.ashx?bid=242044
1874 - Jenny Fredrikke Vilhelmina Schou - Marriage: http://ao.sa.dk/ao/data.ashx?bid=39175543
1885 - Vilhelm and Ricardina Shou - Census: http://www.danishfamilysearch.com/cid15125967
