CLARIDGE Bristol area

Hi there I have on the 1871 Census Elvire CLARIDGE 3 months old living with her parents Charles and Amelia CLARIDGE.
I cannot find her anywhere except for that one census entry?
I would appreciate any ideas on how to find anything on her ?

 Have found the family in 1881 census, minus Elvire. The baptisms for the other children can be found www.familysearch.org

Find this a bit strange though...No bapt for Elvire or a birth reg.


Charles age 10 in 1881 - baptism Charles Robins Clarridge 18th April 1883 St Matthias Bristol-born 8 Feb 1871-parents Charles +Amelia
(even more strange!!!)

Hi,

I couldn't find a birth registration either so looked for the marriage of Charles and Amelia - the only one I could find was in the June quarter 1877 in North Leach

Charles Claridge to Amelia Hanks - so it looks like Elvire may have been registered in mother's former name but that doesn't help you find out what happened to her.

England and Wales marriages 1538-1940 has Charles Robins CLARIDGE married Amelia LINES married 18 April 1870 this is my lot.
Jackie would you mind sending me the 1861 census details for them?
Elvire CLARIDGE is a mystery?
