NEAVE
« on: Thursday 09 August 12 05:36 BST (UK) »
John Neave married Sarah Helsdon 1805 Swafield. John died 20.4.1848 aged 76 years and is buried All Saints Church Gimingham along with Sarah and one of their sons Samuel.
Looking for any information on John. I have some info on 4 of their children, a lot on Sarah but nothing on John or his lineage. Any help greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Closest on Freebmd is:
John Neave
chr St Margarets Norwich 11 Feb 1770
father Matthew
mother Elizabeth

I don't suppose John named any of his children Matthew?  ;)

You might also need to search for Neeve.

Did John's marriage entry give any clues about where he was from?

Hi

You could check this site, it gives you most of the places in Norfolk. You can check place individually.

Matthew Neave is mentioned in a codicil for John Neave as lawful son so will start searching for info on Elizabeth and Matthew Neaves. Thank you kindly for your help
