Hi There,

I had a lovely chat with him. The lady in the office showed me where the grave was and there was a flower there already. I asked her if someone had been and she said that when flowers are blown off other graves they place them on the children's ones.

Christopher died on 8 August 1965 so yesterday was his anniversary.
No wonder I found it hard to sleep :'( :'(

I almost had a few tears at the cemetery.

I am posting 2 photos. The other one shows a butterfly and twirl with some yellow flowers I bought

I will email photos to you Wendy

Hello Wendy

Your Irene Margaret re-married shortly after Stanell's (Stanley's) death.   :)

Hi again Wendy

Please ignore last link I gave for cemetery.

It is possible too that the kind Genealogy volunteers at the Palmerston North Library, may be able to assist you with look-ups of death/funeral notices, for your people.

So try this instead (which gives access to Cemetery Search as well).

http://www.palmerstonnorth.com/servicesandfacilities/onlineservices/

Click on > Library > Library Home Page

then on top bar, click on "What?" > then "Genealogy"

On right-hand side see "Genealogy Volunteers are Here to Help You !"

Noting also that Archives New Zealand (Wellington office), hold the following probate file :

FENTON - Irene Margaret -- 1958

[ex High Court, Palmerston North ]
