... may be the child (aged 2) who travelled who travelled with the above Mr W. C. COOK ??
Hi again...
The passenger list info supplied by Lucy certainly seems to fit in with the 1931 birth registered in Cambridge.
So the next step would be to find the name of William COOK's wife and mother of his son. You could purchase a birth certificate
printout of the 1931 birth. This will give the mother's name, age, maiden name and birth place.
To purchase the birth certificate
printout you need the child's name, year of birth and folio number, all found on the "angelfire.com" website mentioned in reply #24. Then phone BDM NZ at 0800 22 52 52, give them the birth details plus your credit card details and Bob's your uncle (or hopefully Ivy's your g-grand aunt).
It will cost NZ$20.40 for the printout but will add some certainty to your searching.
This is assuming you agree with the guesswork that
"Master W.H COOK aged 2 years" is the son of
"Mister W.C COOK aged 32 years" and that
"Mister W.C COOK aged 32 years" is your William.
At the end of the day it's your money I'm spending :-) so caveat emptor
Regards
