I've actually found a lot of stuff in this batch of Auckland Star on my great-grandfather's return from Gallipoli, it's been absolutely fascinating.
What's doubly fascinating for me is that while I've always considered myself more of a technologist than genealogist, the more I use the site, the more I can see the genealogy bug taking hold...

Hi everyone,
just a minor update - good news and bad. The bad news is that we're "experiencing technical difficulties" in broadcasting parlance, so if you're browsing the site tonight you might need to refresh the page if it looks like it's taking a long time to load, because otherwise it will just keep you waiting. I'm hoping we get this solved pretty quickly.
The good news is that we've got another batch of papers for you all, not too far away at all. Stay tuned! I hope this suitably makes up for the current "technical difficulty" situation :-)
