Hi all - good news!
The first 50 years of The Press, from 1861-1915, is now live on Papers Past. This is thanks to the assistance of Christchurch City Libraries, who helped us out with this. In addition, we've also released the Maoriland Worker, which covers 1910-1024 - happy digging!

Hi everyone. It's a really interesting title, I notice that in the early 20th Century issues, it often has a lot more pages than the Evening Post of the same period, which I think is going to translate to more results. However it covered a population base of a pretty similar size, so I'm not quite sure what that means in terms of genealogy implications.
I'm really interested to know what you all find in the pages compared to other papers on the site - if you get a moment, let me know if you spot any interesting tidbits or have any observations!

Hello PP - looks like a lot of DIGGING to me. The joys of proof reading your own copy. It always trips me up.
