Hi all - you may or may not have noticed that we're experiencing issues at the moment. Our DNS is having issues, so the site is up one minute and then down the next. I'll post updates over in http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,606557.0.html if anyone wants to stay in the loop - I'm really sorry about this, but our staff are working on this as I write and I'm hoping we'll have this sorted relatively quickly.

Hi all, as per Spade's request on the outage thread, I'll put the update here.

It's fixed!

Some people might still experience a few further issues that will resolve as network caches update around the country/world, but this will resolve by itself sooner rather than later.

Sorry for the problem everybody, thanks for being gracious about it!

PAPERS PAST-new release! - NZ HERALD.

The first twenty-one years of "The New Zealand Herald" are to be released on Papers Past today, according to an item in today's issue of this newspaper.

The period covered is to be from 1863 to 1884, comprising 50,000 pages. It is the first of a planned release of papers through to 1945.
