Restoration and possible dating of photograph

This is the digital copy of photo, as you will see it has rounded corners and photographer's name, I am unable to access back of photograph. I would appreciate restoration also. Many thanks, Marian.

Hi Marian :)

What a lovely photo.  Late 1870s is my guesstimate.

"B Wolgemuth" was active in the late 1870s; after 1879 he was "Benjamin Wolgemuth".

China and Jim will be able to tell you more about the date from the clothing being worn.

Had to have a go at this one, because of  the way the girl in the middle has her arm over Pa's arm, which if the hand beneath hers is Pa's, it makes it look as though he is getting a bit well, naughty.

Look hard, folks ... I am sure that I can see the creases of Pa's sleeve continuing through the girls arm. After I had tinkered with it the hands sorted themselves out very nicely, and the hand on the little girls tum is her own.

Probably I am wrong, if not, why is the girls arm in that possition ... beyond me.

Anyhow, here's my version.
