William Collins bc1874 Essex

William Collins b 1874 Essex.  On his Marriage cert 1900 in Guildford Surrey it states his occupation as Army Pensioner.

Anyone out there know if i can find his Army Record details.

the nearest pension record for a william collins born essex is this one born colchester essex 1872 his next of kin is his father also named william .

Yes he did marry Alice Blighton.

Unsure whether Father was Charles William and Mother Elizabeth Partner . You mention a father Thomas havent come across him.
Any information would be great to narrow it down.

How do you know he was born Essex,and doesnt his fathers name and occupation appear on the marriage cert? There are army pension records of familysearch and on Findmypast

The one born Colchester was a shoemaker by trade born St Botolph,Colchester joined Essex regiment at Warley 12 Mar 1890 -10 2 1893
father William Collins of Vineyard Colchester

the one with father Thomas who I asked about was married in 1896 so isnt your man.
