NBI Index CD not available in two local libraries.....

Am looking for any details on the death of Mary Stringer registered Sep qtr 1848 at Ampthill. Burial possibly under Mary Wiggins.

I have searched several church registers for her burial but drawn a blank.

Can anyone help with this please.

Hi:  nothing showing up on NBI for either Mary Stringer or Margaret Wiggins in 1848, Bedfordshire.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Never mind worth a try. Will get her death cert but doesn't tell me where she is buried unfortunately.

You don't indicate how old she may be, there is an infant on the BI, 2 years out...

15 Feb 1846 Mary Ann Wiggins aged 10w., Luton St Mary, bur.

Thanks for taking the trouble Geoff. Not the one I want but she is part of the tree.

I did send for death cert and it confirmed who but a bit of a mystery still as to burial place.
