There are WW1 Medal Cards for him;
Name:    Adyn Snaith
Regiment or Corps:    Royal Garrison Artillery, Army Ordnance Corps
Regimental Number:    205976,051114

Maybe if you talk to your Family some of these names will ring a bell
Without info from B/M/D Certs it is hard to know we are researching the right Family.

That's spot on is that jjen and trish for some reason my grandmothers maiden name had completely left my mind but thats it, have tried talking to family but no one ever seems to know or want to say anything so makes life kinda hard to find anything out the only other part I do know is that my dads side (simkiss part) his father came from Birmingham but that's all I know don't even know his name, can be annoying but my family just don't like talking bout things like this

There is a George W Snaith married to a Betty Chappell 1953 Bradford

George W Snaith 1921 Gateshead  mother's maiden name Stanner.

Barbara A Stanner married a Joseph Snaith 1920 Gateshead

Makes it difficult when people wont talk.
As I have access to info and Census etc I can trace the Snaiths right back to 1841 for you but I am only going by what we have found which looks good so far.

I will look around for you later re the Simkiss but it may be difficult as it is fairly recent info.

JJen may like to have a look as I am going off-line for a while.

You guys are great just reading through Adyn Snaiths ww1 records I've got further with this in the last hour than I have in a year or more I suppose it's more of knowing where to look and how to use the site properly
